Lacuna- an unfilled space or interval; a gap
THE GAP
I remember one of the many nights I begged for resolution, locked in his gaze, I heard him say. “You have some sort of gap in you”, as he pointed to his chest. “You just can’t understand me." I didn’t know how to respond. I wanted to follow by begging him to acknowledge my willingness and desire to understand, but no matter how gentle or composed my approach. It was as if my words were lost on him. dissappearing into some sort of gap. before they could reach his heart.
"Lacuna"
used as a form of tact in artist expression
The gaps of raw canvas holding the spirit of the composition, held in the Lacuna
creating the space (the lacuna) in me to move through source, spirit, god.
